Wine Tasting Note

Subject:	I have a bottle of Taylors Quinta de Vargellas 1969 Vintage Port
Wine:	1969 Taylor Fladgate / Vargellas Vintage

I have a bottle of this stuff which has never been opened but has been in storage since we received it when I was born in 1985, 20 years ago it the vintage 1969 Taylors of which I am told was a "tiny" production that year. Taylors is a great port house, so this wine will be very good. The wine is ready for drinking now, but you can keep storing it for another 10-20 years, before the cork may start to decay too much. I've had ports from 1969 before and they are very light in colour and very smooth and light in taste. I would guess that it would be worth about $150 to $200.	Posted on Sep 19, 2005 By Roy Pereira
