    Subject:A couple of bottles
Hello everyone! I just joined the Forum. I live in Canada, on Victoria Island although I am a Brit by birth and upbringing.
I recently finished a bottle of 1966 Quinta do Noval and found it more than acceptable and am just about to start a 1983 Borges. Does anyone have any comments on either? Would be interested on the opinion of others.
    Many thanks,

The Noval 1966 is normally a low rated port. In my opinion this is wrong. It is not a port that can be put away in the cellar for a decade more. Enjoy it now and I think you have a mature port with a nice colour, very good nose that develop in the glass and a taste that has all what you can expect from a fine matured port. I really like it and I enjoy with great pleasure from time to time.Posted on Feb 19, 2008
