This was the best 2003 that I tasted at the Toronto 2005 IVP Port Tasting.
Even at such a young age, you could tell that this will be a fantastic port!
It was a beautiful dark colour. Everything was well balanced; good alcohol, great jamminess.
The twist came at the end when the wine flavour refused to leave even long after it was tasted. It was like heaven in your mouth... It was like someone placed a disco ball in your mouth and a party broke out... Not sure how else to describe it as it was a spectacular sensation.
This wine will have a long aging potential with its well balanced tannins and alcohol. No wonder it is already valued at over $100. | Posted on Oct 26, 2005
