    Wine:1940 Barros Colheita Tawny
Notes:Dark Brown/Amber with a rim of lemmon yellow. Quite Viscous, with great legs. Burnt sugar, nuts, a hint of sweetness on the nose, but powerful and gorgeous. Acidic and sweet, but not cloying. This was creme brulee in a glass. The finest coheita I have had to date, and what an experience. A wonderful rancio character. Outstanding. A wonderful 55 year old port (Bottled in 1995).
