Wine Tasting Note

I re-tasted this Colheita over the holidays with some friends. I was initially disappointed with it compared to what I remembered from the Port Tasting several months ago.

But, it grew on me again.

Its colour was a beautiful amber. Not as light as I remember, but still nice.

There was a lot of oak wood on the nose plus a pleasant surprise odor of almonds.

Its flavour had hints of honey, walnuts and a light raspberry tinge. The tannins were perfect for a Colheita.

    Still a very reccomendable colheita.
