| Notes: | Medium Ruby with ruby-brown rim. Good clarity. Stewed plums smell. Stewed fruit flavors with a long finish. Quite acidic with good body, few tannins, and quite sweet, but not cloying. There is just a bit of tartness that is a bit off-putting, likely due to the fact that this is a modern LBV and I am tasting it 10 years past the bottling date. Fair overall. |
