| Notes: | Deep ruby with medium ruby rim. Very closed on the nose, not at all spirity, with hints of blackberries within. Astoundingly closed on the palate. This is a modern style LBV made for early drinking, but was exceedingly closed on the palate as well, showing good acidity and more hints of blackberry flavor within. Not even time in the glass opened this one up much. Only fair, it promises so much more but doesn’t deliver, could it be that it needs to age more? |
