Notes:	Medium Ruby with a red rim, good clarity. Aroma of strong overripe red and black fruits, a bit spirity. More acidic than the 1996, and with more overripe fruit flavors. Not the same balance as the 1996 either. A good hearty modern style LBV, but not a blockbuster. Drinkable.
