| Notes: | Deep Ruby with medium ruby rim. Some sediment suspended in the wine. Slight raspberry fragrance, but hinting at power within, slight alcohol smell appearing. The alcohol and acid just a bit out of balance, deep cherry and dark fruit flavors, indeed powerful fruit with just a hint of stewed fruit flavors making an appearance. A good solid modern style LBV, still quite fresh despite being opened nearly ten years after bottling. Dow makes a great modern LBV. |
