    Subject:1987 Port for Tontine
I am a graduate of a Alliance College in 1967. The college closed in 1987 and recently we have started an alumni association. Obviously, with the school closed there will be no other graduates. I want to establish a Tontine. Years ago I had read about solders from WWI setting these up and each year or on some schedule they would get together to relive the war and the "last man standing" would open a bottle of wine that had been set aside when the Tontine was begun and drink a toast to his comrades.

I would like the group's advice and suggestions for the best vintage port from 1987 that may be opened aroung 2050.

Dow's 1987 Quinta do BomFim Single Quinta Port.
It should be able to keep for another 30-odd years. Whether it will keep until ´50 is difficult to say. Not many ´87's are that durable.
