First of two bottles of vintage port enjoyed on 14/04/03(well it was my birthday!).
Not obviously to my taste, as I have a very sweet tooth. However this was quite delightful. Certainly in the classic dry Warre style, but with pleasing sweet plum finish. Elegantly balanced quality with pleasing bouquet. Smooth & ready to drink.
Another fabulous bargain at £18 inc’ duty/VAT for a 75cl bottle from Terry Love (finewineseller.co.uk/). Sadly Terry has sold out of this, & the replacement stock is more expensive.
