User Tasting Notes

Notes:Tasted in 2002. I agree with Mr. Kelly's notes. A straightforward bottle with no more complexity than an average 20 year tawny. I tasted at the same time as the 1965 Colheita, which was much more enjoyable.

Notes:Red/Amber in coloration, with good clarity, some sediment (coffee grounds) near the end. Spirity, caramel, peel, and baked in fragrance. Acidic, moderate sweetness, but with an off “baked” flavor that was not that appealing. A bit cloying. Light in body. Fair, but I preferred the 20 year old Tawny much better.
