How about a 1963 Taylor Fladgate for $250 US? (http://www.klwines.com/product.asp?sku=980051) I've also seen Warres for around $200. 1963 is definately a good year to be born in terms of Port Wine. Taylor's is great, and so is its sister company, Fonseca. You should expect to pay between $235 and $275 per bottle from www.winecommune.com and other such auction sites. I've seen it retail from $315 to $400...too high!	Posted on Mar 13, 2003 By Cliff Myers
I too celebrated my 40th earlier this year. I did so with bottles of a 1963 Quinta do Noval and a Kopke. I also tried the Taylor's. As others have identified, I don't think you could go wrong with either the Taylor's, Fonseca, or Graham's. If you're interested in another suggestion perhaps the Sandeman's.
